Visit a Dentist
It is recommended to have at least two dental visits in a year for regular dental checkup. Regular dental visits are important because they allow your dentist to detect cavities and other health challenges early. The earlier you catch them, the less expensive cavities are to treat.

Your dentist will perform a thorough examination of your teeth, gums and mouth, looking for signs of disease or other problems. His or her goal is to help maintain your good oral health and to prevent problems from becoming serious, by identifying and treating them as soon as possible

Technically, a dental implant is an artificial tooth root that’s placed into your jaw to hold a prosthetic tooth or bridge. Dental implants may be an option for people who have lost one or more teeth due to periodontal disease, an injury, or some other reason and who prefer not to wear dentures. About Dr. Sseremba
Dr. Patrick Sseremba is a dental surgeon by profession licensed and registered with the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners council. He graduated with a bachelor of dental surgery in 2020 from Makerere university. He completed certificate training in Endodontics (2021) and Periodontology (2021) from the World Dental Association (India). He also obtained a certificate in Implantology from Healing Hands international with association to the university of Michigan dental school. Dr. Patrick has been working on prosthetic and cosmetic dentistry to respond to the needs of his patients. He is experienced in orthodontic treatment, cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, digital smile design, among others. He has great interest in digital dentistry as well as dental photography. Prior to his medical degree, Patrick completed his high school from Kitende Secondary School and elementary school from Najja Modern Primary School.
Dr. Patrick continues to participate regularly in both national and international dental seminars, conferences, and training programs with purpose to follow the latest developments in dentistry and research. He’s currently undertaking a post-grad study in global oral health with the University of Bergen (Norway)
